OR's Ikazia hospital are fitted with GPR racks

Last summer, Dutch integrator Mpluz was faced with the challenge of providing six Operation Rooms (OR) of the Rotterdam Ikazia Hospital with a completely new multimedia system in 6 weeks’ time.
It was the very limited time span and the decentralised character of the installation that made Mpluz decide to opt for the new CAYMON 19” GPR Series slide-out racks.
Project leader Paul de Jonge said: 'The time pressure in this project was enormous and the choice for the CAYMON GPR slide out racks saved us a lot of time. The installation of the racks and tests of the equipment already took place at our office in Valkenswaard, so that the installation in the furniture close to the OR could be done quickly and efficiently'.
‘Our installations are made up of several separate hardware components which are connected to each other by both copper and fibre-optic cables and thus form a total system. The slide-out possibility of this rack greatly improves the accessibility of the components. Both during installation and later during maintenance, malfunctions or system modifications. The installer and the end user benefit from this'.
Our slide-out racks are equipped with a HexaSlide™ rail system. This innovation is specially designed to withstand heavy loads even when the equipment bay of the rack is fully extended. The unique combination of six, heavy duty ball bearing slides provides a smooth sliding operation for the attached 19” equipment and are cleverly positioned for achieving an optimal utilization of the available height.
